Is it possible to have the TAB key work like tab in word in a single field on a form?

You mean that you want the tab key to insert a tab character in a field? Why would you want to do that? It doesn’t make much sense in Access. Moreover, it’s counterintuitive, since people are used to pressing tab to move to the next field/control.

In Word a Tab Character takes you to the next Tab Stop. Access does not have Tab Stops.

      John,

Thanks, that’s what I needed to know.

      Hans,

It’s a case of trying to keep the boss happy if possible before having to tell him that you can’t do it.
