I created a perfectly lovely table and I don’t know what I did to it but now all the text in each cell is compressed onto a single character in the upper left corner of the cell. Any suggestions?

Hmmm, that is hard to do on purpose. In the past, we’ve had reports of that during printing when the on-screen display was normal. Could you try changing the font and see whether that helps?

When I’ve come across similar problems in the past, as well as jscher’s suggestion, here are some other things that I’ve tried and have worked at various times (even though they don’t necessarily make sense!):
Copy and paste the table (or the whole document) into a new document.
See if the default printer has been deleted – if so, reset it.
Reinstall the printer driver.
