      If you’re talking about Windows Updates… it’s rare that MS has two horrible months in a row. Although it has happened once in the past ten years, if memory serves.

      For now, the patches aren’t pressing enough to sweat the details — unless you want to pick and choose which patches you want to install (which is a viable alternative – but a pain in the neck).

      Hang in there. It’ll get better. Heh heh heh….

      Uh, Woody, you just posted at Infoworld that the “rare event” has just happened. Eight bad patches in the August crop. This is getting troubling, and it is no longer your fault for telling us to hold off on the patches.

      Microsoft must improve its patch testing if they really want users to continue to apply even “critical” security updates. This current situation is really messed-up!
