AskWoody PlusJanuary 27, 2025 at 7:35 am #2742886This article caught my attention. Seems like a very nifty replacement editor. The first question that came to mind is does it have the ability to create and use templates? I write fantasy role playing games/modules. I always struggle with callouts, boxed text, placement of graphical elements, etc. Using a template can help. There is a MS Word template for this but of course you have to use MS Word to benefit from it. Maybe you could do a follow-up article on this product if its capable. Thanks!

AskWoody PlusJanuary 27, 2025 at 9:46 am #2742953SpyHunter reports the .exe file in the .zip as malware. I’ve used (and contributed to) oldergeeks.com in the past without this issue. Suggest caution.

We sent you an email.
Spyhunter is recognized as deceptive by Malwarebytes and others. They have a reputation for creating false positives to sell their software. The file is clean. Consider not giving Spyware Hunter any more money.

AskWoody PlusJanuary 27, 2025 at 1:12 pm #2743058I suppose you are not familiar with the text editor named TextPad. I use this all the time, for everything. I cannot tell from your article what makes TextWorx better or more capable than TextPad. Can you offer any opinions based on your experience? Thank you.

Enjoyed your article on Textwork. I’ll give it a try.
Given the writing sample, I thought you might like this:
Part of the Kubrick exhibit at the LA MOMA, ca. 2012. The typewriter that Nicholson used at the Overlook Hotel. It felt very strange to be standing in front of this thing. (I kept looking back over my shoulder . . . ). A large box of typed sheets (of a great variety) was placed next to the machine.
