      Dell Ophelia is not anything new. There have been Chinese-made Android TV Sticks (programmed in India) for over two years now, and even a few which run actual Linux distros. In fact, Linux is being developed to be able to run its full array of features on ARM processors, perhaps eventually running Adnroid as a Linux Virtual Machine on ARM. Microsoft (and even Apple) can’t hold a candle to that feat, if it actually comes to pass. Head over to Liliputing.com for more about these tiny devices which amy revolutionize “small computing” in the next few years. (Only part of the Liliputing site is about Linux and Android Small Tech, but they do have an active blog about these devices.)

      Android will never be a fully functional desktop-style OS, but then again, it isn’t designed to fill that niche. But with Linux on the same devices, the day is closing in on us when functionality will no longer be a big issue with tablets. Price on the other hand…
