If I create a PowerPoint by inserting a new slide in a new presentation, and selecting slides from outline, I get the new presentation, but the font is different in the PowerPoint than it is in my Word document (the source of the outline). Also, I can’t take advantage of the theme fonts – the text doesn’t change. This is true if I set a theme before inserting the outline. The only thing we have figured out is bring the text in, go into the Outline view in PP and apply a font +heading for titles and a font+body for the other text on the slide. Then we can use the theme fonts.
Anybody know an easier way to do this? The goal is use the slides from outline and be able to use the theme fonts. Thanks all

You can add a new slide with the theme you want and just paste the text you want so you won’t need to worry about editing it.
