    Hi,

Has anyone any LDAP experience that can help me access the UK NHS ldap servers using TB?.

I can get addresses in outlook express, but not in the Thunderbird address book. Any ideas?

Thanks Hans, that’s a good link.

That procedure worked when we used a local address book, but not for the national one.
The frustrating thing is that, with fewer settings to set, outlook express’s address book works. It must be compensating behind the scenes somehow.

A new tack might be to find out what OE is doing. Any suggestions?

Just a thought since I don’t know the particulars of your server – did you use SSL or do you need to?

            Hi,

Thanks for replying. Yes I do need to use ssl, and the port is changed to the correct port (it’s at work, I’m at home, can’t check…)

            Jon
