Timing of comments added with Word 2010

My wife uses Review > Add a comment to annotate existing Word 2010 files (and older Word files using the compatibility mode). However, the file then reveals the time at which the comments were added when anyone subsequently reading it hovers their mouse it over them. Is it possible to turn off this timing of the comments?

My understanding is that’s the way it was designed. I’m curious why she cares if someone sees when she added the comment.
Maybe she doesn’t want anyone to know she works late?
