Hi….

My Problem…
I currently have windows set to turn off my display after 10 mins inactivity which I would like to keep if possible, the problem being that I have 1 particular piece of software that I would like to auto suspend this function whilst running just like media players do whilst playing videos. The software in question being “G-Force Standalone” (visualisation) if that helps. I’m guessing a registery hack would be required but am pretty clueless when it comes to that sort of thing.

Don’t know if this helps at all but there is an application called Caffeine that will put an icon in the system tray. Double clicking it will prevent the inactivity timeout. Double clicking it again re-enables the timeout.
