Unable to change home page

Hi, My Home Page appears to be locked, and would like very much to change it. I have tried all the standard options to change a HomePage such as Internet Options, General, Tabs etc. but as soon as I restart its back to the old HomePage. I am using Explorer 10 on a Window 7 Home Premium. I would appreciate it very much for any advise. Thank you.

It sounds as though you are infected with some sort of redirect nasty. I would start with a complete scan with a good AV app, and a complete scan with MalwareBytes Anti-malware to see if anything is found.

Thank you for your replies. I did a scan with MalwareBytes and it did find 5 nasties which I deleted but it made no different to the problem.
Yes it is a legitimate Home Page ‘http://www.ninemsn.com.au’

Do you run any security software that could prevent the change?

Could you zip and attach the Malwarebytes log? That might give us some clues.

AdwCleaner may pick up on add-ons/Toolbars that MBAM may not have seen as malicious.

I thank you all have help me find the problem. There is a yellow line around the window of the browser which I think my AV has put there which it calls a Sandbox. I am looking in the program to see if I can remove this temporary so I can change the HomePage. Thanks again. Happy Christmas.
