    After applying the September updates, I have a user who is unable to open a folder in Explorer by double-clicking on it. When right-clicking on the folder, the action at the top of the list in bold in CMD. I am able to open the folder by selecting open lower in the list. Is there a quick fix or workaround for this?

      Post must name particulars for software updates:

      Windows 7 64x / Updates – September / Programs

      September is trouble free.  I just received a Windows notification for 6 – updates as follows:

      2 – Office 2010 / Outlook 2010 / Word 2010 / Rollup Oct Win 7 64x  – 4041681. /  MSRT  Oct Win 7 64x  – KB890830

      I will hold off until next month after reviewing Ask Woody.

      @znitro

      You have Win7 64-bit – is this correct?
      What Sept updates were installed (KB #s or descriptions)?
