I’ve created a template file and stencil from an existing visio drawing. These files have now been saved into their own folder within the Visio10Solutions folder.
When I try to create a new drawing based on the template and stencil, I get a pop-up error message with the title “LAYOUT.EXE”. The message reads “Unable to run add-on”. This does not happen when I open the original file. Nor does it happen when I create a new drawing based on the supplied solutions.
I’ve also run a search on my hard drive for LAYOUT.EXE but the file does noty appear to exist.
I’d be grateful for any ideas that would get me round this problem.
