    Hi,
I’m feeling inept since I changed over from Excel 2003 to Excel 2007… I can’t for the life of me find how to change the data source inside an existing pivot table. I did this a gazillion times in the old Excel and I can’t find where to do it in Excel 2007. Also, I’d love to have a “pivot table” menu like I did with the old Excel, and I had it on the left side of my worksheet going up and down. Likewise I had the VBA menu on my right side going up & down… is this NOT an option in ’07. And on a final note, I’ve minimized my ribbon and have slowly found the shortcuts/commands I need for my customized tool bar, but it doesn’t stack them like the OLD Excel did… in other words, I have too many commands on my customized tool bar, so now it makes me click on the arrow on the right hand side of the screen to show the items that didn’t fit on the screen. It used to be able to be displayed on two bars across the screen if you had a lot of them. Any help is always appreciated!
    Thanks!
    Lana

If you click anywhere in a pivot table, the Ribbon will have two new parts: Options and Design.
The Options ribbon contains useful buttons such as Move Pivot Table and Change Data Source.

An interactive guide that teaches you where Excel 2003 commands are located on the ribbon: Interactive: Excel 2003 to Excel 2007 command reference guide.

Thanks for the link Hans… I’ve already used it and found a few other items I was looking for. One last question… will 2007 let me have more than ONE bar of commands, or do I have to keep clicking the arrow to see the 2nd bar commands.
        Thanks!

I don’t have office 2007 myself, so I can’t check this myself, but I think you’re limited to the single Quick Access Toolbar.

A very useful tool for anyone working with Office 2007 is this one:
