Ok. I can do this with ado code.
But…Is there an easier way to link a table from a user security access database.
The FE is access but is not part of the secure mdw.
And i only want to reference 2 tables.
It appears to not be possible with a standard link.
I have not tried yet but can i set the recordset of a form to the ado recordset.
I seem to remember doing this once with an adp file but this is an mdb.
    Not a big issue.
I have a solution, but wondered if i had missed something simple.

      That was tables not tablrs.
I hate typing on this phone.

If (and that is a big IF) it is really secured to the point where you cannot open the database without being connected to the correct .mdw file, then I don’t know of a way to link to a table, or to do it in code either with ADO or with DAO. I’m curious what your solution is?
