Hello,
I posted a similar question in the Excel forum, but didn’t get an answer. At the risk of being accused of cross posting, I think I’ve found the right forum this time.
I am the recipient of an HP tablet PC. It’s model number is tc4200. I didn’t find any answers on the HP web site, nor did I find answers on the Microsoft website.
Here is the basic problem:
When the PC is open to tablet mode, the keyboard is covered.
Well, when I am in Word, I would like to highlight a sentence. To select a sentence, you can hold the shift key down and click the mouse. Well, when the table covers the PC, there’s no shift key to be found.
In Excel, I would like to select non-adjacent ranges. To do this, of course, you drag the mouse on the first range, then hold the control key down and select another range. Well, when the table covers the PC, there’s no control key to be found.
Same thing in Outlook. I would like to select many names from the global address list. Normally, you hold the control key down while clicking. Well, again no control key.
Is there a special key, or some sort of setting in the tablet settings, that will allow me to use something else instead of the control and shift keys?
Thanks for any help here.
