Using NOW or TODAY with DATEDIF

Dear loungers,

If I use this formula:

=-(DATEDIF(TODAY(), GoLiveStartDate,”D”)+3)/7

I get an endless row of hashes. The same with NOW() instead of TODAY().
The formula works with a cell reference.

What is happening, and can I fix it?

OK found it, the format wasn’t set to a number for the cell

Glad you solved it.
Just to clarify the problem: the hashes come since Excel does not understand negative dates or times so any negative number will display like that with a date or time format.
