    Hi gang,
I created a macro that asks the user how many columns he needs to create a table. I did this using an Input box and it worked just fine.
I want to do the same thing using a dialog box but it am missing something. I used a text box and the value it returns seems to be wrong. I get an error message saying “the number must be between 1 and 63”.
    What have I missed?
    tks

Can you post the part of the code that tries to assign the TextBox.value to whatever is giving the error message? Either your text is a very large number or it isn’t converting properly to a number.

Are you sure that you’re not just trying to specify too many columns? I recall that 63 is the maximum number of columns that a Word XP table can have.
