• vCalendar VCS files (OL2000/Exch2000)

    I would like to associate vCalendar VCS file with my Outlook calendar so that they open as Outlook appointment items. Any suggestions?

      Paul, if you created the Calendar item it would exist on your Calendar, so I assume your question is about VCS files you recieve. I do not know of a way to ‘link’ the VCS file with your Calendar, but if you either double click the VCS file, or drag and drop it from a message to your Calendar, the appointment will be created in your Calendar. Does this help?

      What do you have in Windows Explorer as your “open” command string for VCS files? This is what appears for Outlook 2002. I don’t know whether Outlook 2000 supported this extra /vcal command-line switch.
