Replaced a HDD with a Samsung SSD on an HP-All-In-One PC, running windows 7 Home, with 4 GB memory and an i3 CPU.
The HDD had failed so an image from six months ago was used to load the new SSD.
Everything seems to run just fine except for the boot time.
The POST test runs and the loading windows screen shows for about 5 seconds then a black screen that last for close to one minute before the logon screen.
No malware has been found and the drive cleaned of unnecessary files, dumps, error logs restore points and ect.
All Microsoft updates have been installed.
The slow boot has been there sense the first SSD boot up.
Any suggestions on trying to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
The PC is located in a doctors off, so test times are restricted Tuesday & Thursday mornings or after hours.
Thanks in advance
Ron
