    Probably a long shot but…

In VDM’s “Video>>Filters”, I would like to change the default width & heigth frame settings in the resizing filter from the current default 320/240 to 720/480
and possibly set the “filter mode” to permanently display “precise bilinear” as a default.

Is there a way to acomplish the above, or at least the frame settings, so that everytime I run VDM I don’t have to do this manually?

The vast majority of my jobs are either 720 by 480 or 720 by 392, so having this set to a default setting will save me from having to continually modify
    these particular settings.

I use VDubMod by proxy through the AutoGK suite. Advanced setting there allows me to choose fixed width (in 16 pixel increments) and that sticks until I change it. No height adjustment though as that’s determined by aspect ratio.

I think I’ll end up having to move back to VirtualDub as VirtualDubMod hasn’t been updated in a while (2006).

Sure, its the absolute sweetest spot I’ve ever found, the more modern stuff is good for further format compacting without much quality loss, but each has its little problems that bothers me so I’m sticking with the classic.
