This website won’t fit on my Asus Transformer Mini with 1280×800 resolution combined with windows display setting changed to 125%. Just an annoyance I often run into. Yes ,my eyes are old but you too may have this problem one day – if you’re lucky.

AskWoody MVPDecember 15, 2020 at 10:55 am #2319808Have you tried changing the zoom level in the browser for the site? I have the opposite issue, where the site occupies a strip down the center, with large black bars on either side, so much of the screen is blank, while that which is displayed is too small to be read. In Firefox, at least, you can use Ctrl+scroll to zoom in and out, or you can use the UI controls. It allows it to be set independently on various sites, and recent versions also allow a default zoom to be set (170% on my 1920×1080 displays, which is ideal for this site and most others).

AskWoody LoungerFebruary 11, 2021 at 11:14 am #2342722Yeah that width thing is not so great.
One other thing a Post should be top to bottom in my opinion. I go back to look at a reply and there are posts to posts to posts so have to go over whole thing to find post reply came in email. Unless there is a setting can change that sort top to bottom?
I used to use a free software years ago phpbb and went through migrating from a previous software to that.
