Website for simplifying app downloads

I’ve read descriptions of a website that greatly simplifies downloading and installing many common free applications. The website allows you to check the applications that you want to download from a list and then it will download them all so you don’t have to visit multlple websites or query the big download sites for the most common apps. I’d sure appreciate it if anyone has the URL.

From a malware-avoiding point-of-view, sounds like a “website” that
should be avoided !? Most likely, it would be a “warez” site, that
would include Trojans and other malware as “part” of the “Download” !?

Be safe, and download program(s) from their “Source” IF they still exist .

Yeah, I’d avoid sites like that. The above site offers plenty of freeware, but download and instal yourself.
This site is especially good in that everything is here in one place without having to strain through all the adds to find a download link.

Ninite has gotten good reviews in other forums in the lounge. In my case most of the programs listed were already in my system. This site is great for brand new installs, but if you have had your OS set up for a while. I have found that it just did not have enough stuff I still needed.

One site I use is Download.com I have used it for years and never had any problems with software I have downloaded
