Hi! The firewall page of my NetGear DGN2200v2 Router says that you can block “a keyword or domain name” on the firewall block page. Do they mean a keyword in a URL, or anywhere in the page or other object?
Thanks.

Hi Cassandra, have a read of this. 30732-DGN2000-Reference
From RodeRunner’s link:
Some examples of keyword application follow:
• If the keyword XXX is specified, the URL http://www.badstuff.com/xxx.html is blocked.
• If the keyword .com is specified, only websites with other domain suffixes (such as .edu or
.gov) can be viewed.
• Enter a period (.) as to block all Internet browsing access.
In other words, you’re saying that it sounds like a keyword is a string which will cause a URL to be blocked if it appears anywhere in the URL, and that it’s at least a reasonable guess that this works the same way in DGN2200v2 as it does in DGN2000?
Do I have it right?
Thanks again.

Its something I have never used. If I want to block something I would do it with OpenDNS.
