My W10 computers are currently running 1809 – should I update to any of the 2019 updates?

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

I went to SYSTEM and activated the ‘Windows Update’ and was told ‘Restart Required’; that the update was ready to install and just hit the ‘Restart Now’ button. I did before I went to bed. I woke up this morning and checked the version of software the system is running – 1809.
What happened?

Evidently the Monthly CU installed and the version didn’t change or a Feature update failed. But it’s difficult to say what happened without any information.
Look in Windows Update under Update History and see if there’s any error message. What update was installed, a Feature upgrade or the Mar. monthly Security Cumulative update?
Then we need some information on your computer:
+ Hardware specs
+ Do you have Win10 Home or Pro?
+ Software you have installed. Of particular importance are Anti-virus programs(s) and third-party Windows Update blockers).
+ Pertinent settings in Windows (for example are metered connections on?) -
