Where did you find the 64 bit version? I just looked at the NirSoft site and USBDeview is not included on the tab for 64 bit programs. :cheers:

I found it right below the download link for the 32 bit version, in the USBDeview page linked in the article: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html.

Note, that with WSCC (in your portable software thread) there is an option to download the 64-bit version of the NirSoft utilities if available.

The only 64-bit reference I could find in the Options menu of WSCC is for the 64-bit version of the Update Manager or am I reading the implication incorrectly? Obviously I was, as I checked it and ran an update and viola all the 64-bit versions. I guess if you want both versions you have to run update twice once w/the option checked and once with it unchecked. Thanks again!:cheers:

Update: I tried the USB drive on a Win XP SP-3 machine and the WSCC menu tried to run the 64 bit programs!. I ran update again with the 64 Bit option unchecked then tried the menu and it ran the 32 bit version. I checked and both versions 64 & 32 bit have exactly the same name so the updater can only load one or the other. Looks like I’ll have to maintain a separate directory for the 64 bit utilities. :cheers:

Maybe you could try contacting the WSCC authors and see if they could change how they handle the 32-bit & 64-bit versions so you could manage both concurrently.
