    I have Dell 1555
For some reason known only to them, Dell have decided that it does NOT need the Pause or Break Keys.
This is a right pain when trying to stop code running.
I used to get round this by using the OSK in XP and Vista.
    Annoying but it worked.

I have just updated to Windows 7 and now it is gone from the OSK as well.

Now I am really stuck if I need CTRL Break to stop code.

    Does anyone know either

    1. How to get a Break key back on the Dell
I guess I would need to somehow remap a key

    2. Get an OSK that has a break key

You have a PAUSE in your picture – in last column on the right the center key.

Have you tried Ctrl-C? In “standard” ASCII it is a “Break” (although it has been “re-mapped” in Microsoft world), and maybe your debugger will still understand it as such. You’ve got nothing to loose by trying.
