AskWoody LoungerDecember 3, 2019 at 1:49 pm #2014220Since clearing my 14 day quality update deferral window, all of my 1903 machines have updated with the November updates with no issues. One of the nice things about this is that it includes the KB that fixes the “disappearing” deferrals selection screen in 1903.

AskWoody PlusDecember 4, 2019 at 8:00 pm #2014853With Win7 what is the confirmed status of the Security Only patch with respect to snooping and what if any issues exist for the standalone IE11 rollup?
(Group B on Monthly SO and IE, WU for Office 2010 and .NET on Win7Pro-64 on Intel DX58SO2 MB with i7-960 CPU, nVidia GTX-660Ti.)
I did my updates today, due to impending travel. No issues for November. Manually installed the November SO and November IE Rollup and the 2 checked Office 2010 patches. The unchecked office patch was not installed. No issues. Updated manually the Servicing Stack. No issues with any of them or PC or application behavior post updates.
All snooping settings were honored, and the SO did NOT do a double reboot, so I believe it did not have the ‘snoop component’. No WU settings were changed and no tasks were added or changed by the updates. My past notes show the dual reboot occurred when the telemetry components are included in the SO, however I am not positive that is always the case.
