Thanks for the article on net-neutrality and Comcast/Netflix. I hadn’t even heard about this.

Yet, I’ve heard a bunch lately about the Obama admin. saying they want to give domain name control to an independent organization. It sounds like giving up control to the UN Security Council. That sounds like we just want to give up freedom of speech control to people who may not be interested in freedom, like some in China, Russia, or even terrorist organizations. What do you see as the true implications of domain name control for us all? That would make another, and very timely, article I’d love to see.

I do not object to paying more if I am a heavy user of bandwidth and time on the Internet and paying less if I am a light user. I fear far more the potential for censorship and restrictions to access than I do fees. I am more concerned with my use of the Internet being “monitored” for purposes not in my own best interest. These concerns seem to be often overlooked in net neutrality discussions.

I also want to say that your article in WSN was excellent (but you already knew that!).
