Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Hi Woody,
I tried to check the status of my July downloads (which were on pause) based on the new Patch Watch from Susan Bradley, but as soon as I did the 2004 version started preparing for installation. I quickly set the pause for another 7 days, but it looks like 2004 is going to install when the pause is up. What will become of the 1909 update that was ready to install before 2004 started loading? And, yes there is a .NET Frame install waiting as well.

Ifย you clicked “Check for Updates,” that is why you got v2004.
“Check for Updates” does not mean “check.”
It means download and install whatever is available.
