What is the advantage of the win 10 Creators update over the version I have (1607-home edition)? Should I update to it now or wait till I am notified?

I am running both WIN10 versions on different systems. Frankly, I do not see a lot of difference and taking into consideration the problems I have had with MS Office on vers 1703, I would recommend holding off on this upgrade for a while.

Here’s an article that may be of interest –  What’s New in Windows 10’s Creators Update.

Unless there is something in the article that you just can’t live without, I recommend that you wait until the update is offered via Windows Update. Microsoft is rolling this out in waves learning from each wave to make the next more successful.

There’s very little worthwhile in Creators Update, except the ability to easily block patches.
