Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
I remember reading somewhere, in an article dated months back, that Ms had pledged to stop automatically reloading Ms apps that were uninstalled by the user. This was supposed to take effect in a future Win 10 update. Does anyone know if this hoped-for event has come to pass? 
I haven’t bothered to try deleting any of the apps that show Ms as the creator. Can I unistall some of these with the expectation that they won’t mysteriously return?

Yes, you can expect the apps to not be reinstalled. Recent builds should all honor uninstalled apps.
