Win98 “Auto Arrange” Default

Hi,

I want my Win98 PC to have “Auto Arrange” as default when I am file browsing. How can I make this default?

Perhaps there is some registry tweak for Win98.

And file browsing using what program?

Hi,

When file browsing using Windows Explorer – via “My Computer” on the Desktop. I am tired of manually setting it to “Auto Arrange” for every single folder I open!

Have you tried setting up one folder to auto arrange and then clicking: View|Folder Options|View|Like current folder ?
Once you’ve set one folder to behave the way you want it to, this option should cause all others to take on the same characteristics.
