I am working on a friend’s pc who is using Access 2k. When I open a database, most of the menu options under “Window” are missing. The only ones present are “cascade”, “arrange icons”, and the form or database that is open. AND of course the “database” only shows up IF the database allows viewing the database at startup. No “Tile Vertically”, No “Tile Horizontally”, No “Hide” and No “Unhide”?

Has anyone ever run across this before?

    Thanks!
    Ken

The menu has probably been customized. You can reset the entire menu bar:
      – Select Tools | Customize…
      – Activate the Toolbars tab.
      – Select Menu Bar in the list of toolbars.
      – Click Reset…

If that is too drastic, activate the Commands tab, select the Window and Help category in the list on the left hand side, and drag the missing commands from the list on the right hand side to the Window menu.

WOW! I feel so ignorant. I had been there but didn’t realize the Reset button right was toolbar specific.

        THANK YOU! ! ! !
