See for features, fixes, and known issues. NOTE: This build merges SKIP AHEAD back into FAST. So, both rings will receive the same builds going forward[See the full post at: Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18875 (20H1) released to FAST & SKIP AHEAD rings]

I wonder how they’ll ever sort out the Fast/Slow 20H1/19H2 confusion.

I still think 1909 is going to be Win10 version 1903 Service Pack Meh.

I am starting to believe it will be the most encouraged practice to skip versions  like:

      1803 -1903    or 1903  -2003

It’s only a matter of time when feature updates are reduced to 1

Hmm, according to that theory you SHOULD install the ‘03’-versions. They seem to be the only ones with not too many problems. The fall-ones are often much more buggy. See 1809 for example.

well it doesnt matter what update it is, if its stable enough, its good enough

Isn’t 20H1 supposed to have a redesigned kernel? If so, then 19H1 and 19H2 will be the last two builds with the old kernel.

      • #350916

20H1 will be a new kernel. The strangeness with the rings right now is to get Windows 10 aligned with the Azure release schedule for the kernel since Windows enginerring is now part of the Azure structure.

I would like to see a parody on The Seven Rings – anybody?

Windows 10 H2 releases are history. New Windows 10 ‘versions’ (service packs) will be shipped once a year.

Where does this information come from? What is the source?

        • #351028

Microsoft already moved Fast ring insiders to Windows 10 20H1 and Microsoft will announce the change soon. Stay tuned.

          • #351145

… so a speculative prediction without source or an insider leak. Leaks might be marketing opportunities to raise interest. Sometimes meant to create confusion so that a real announcement is well received for its refreshing clarity.

            • #351289

Announcements from Microsoft are not worth the paper they are written on. Having moved insiders to 20H1 speaks volumes.

YOU are Dona Sarkar in disguise, aren’t you? 😀

I’m seeing that so far on only one of my IP computers and one of the suggestions of a fix is to get it from the Windows Update Catalog but a message returns that it is not available.

Before you wonder "Am I doing things right," ask "Am I doing the right things?"
