OK. I sympathize. But how else could you do a “test” presentation? Give the answers upside down, so you have to turn your monitor over? ๐Ÿ™‚

What a bunch of gobbledygook and obfuscation Windows has become! It would take a huge amount of mental effort and time to keep it all straight! And even if you can figure it all out, you end up being nothing more than a non-paid beta tester for Microsoft. That is, unless you want to shell out the big bucks necessary to be in the Long Term Servicing Channel.

It just doesn’t seem right to me to pay a company for the privilege of being their servant.

That was fun Woody, and the way you use the slideshow works fine for me. It doesn’t reload the whole page and take forever.

There was something weird and annoying about the slideshow pages. Clicking on the big white arrow on the slide would not automatically take me to the next slide, instead it repositioned the slide on my monitor screen; I had to click a second time to get to the next slide.

And then, for a while after the new slide showed up, I could not scroll down to see the rest of the text. Using the scroll bar (alongside the right edge of the browser) would work for a tiny distance and then bounce me back to the top of the page, while using either the mouse wheel or the scroll button (down-arrow) did literally nothing at all, until whatever was stopping them finally relented.

Pale Moon browser, in case it matters.

      Grrrr!!!!

Strange! I’ll let the Computerworld folks know….

I’d change one of your set of options. When asking about the Fall vs. November updates, I’d have one of the options be that one is 2015 and the other is 2016.

I had no idea about that one, but figured it out by the choices. Because there obviously wouldn’t be one just a month apart.

Why are most slides duplicated, with only minor differences in the quiz question?

Me thinks someone lacks a QC checker.

I didn’t see any issue with the presentation at all (Pale Moon).

First slide, question asked, next slide question answered.

I was expecting maybe some kind of programmatic scoring system, but once I realized I couldn’t click on an answer and it was just slides doing ask/reveal alternation everything was fine.

The answers were not terribly surprising, and they got the point across: If you didn’t follow Microsoft through all the moves, it’s nigh impossible to derive the answers.

Personally I think they like the term “Fall” so much because it quite aptly describes their transition from being the world’s serious operating system company.

HA! Yeah, it would be nice to have a scoring system…
