    Windows 10 Pro – 1909 (OS Build: 18363.836)

I have updates paused until 08/07/2020 which I have been doing on a regular basis recently (and well before each Patch Tuesday comes around) based on AskWoody’s MS-Defcon recommendations.

At some point over the last couple of days, I noticed that the ‘main menu’ for the ‘Settings screen has now changed and at the top displays a light grey section detailing the User, Windows Update and Rewards.

I’m not quite sure if this is a glitch or some impending update trying to get through?!  (I initially thought that the May 2020 update had been forced through, however this was not the case).

Has anybody else experienced this issue?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Look under Windows Update and see if you are (accidentally) using an Insider Build.
The only place I have seen this is in my Win10 Insider.

I’ve checked under Settings > Update & Security > Advanced Options > Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows and this is set to ON.

Also under Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Programme simply displays a grey box titled Get Started.

I am on Windows 10 Pro – 1909 (OS Build: 18363.836) logged as local user and don’t have those entries in settings page.

The main settings page on my Windows 10 Pro PC has “Windows Update” and “Rewards” too.

        What version of Win10? 1903, 1909, or 2004?
What Edition of Win10? Home or Pro?

I’ve got these as well — started a different thread on it (“Account Login Request on Settings page in v1909”) earlier in this subforum.
