Can you stop the windows 11 full screen popups in Windows 10 by renaming

C:\Program Files\RUXIM\RUXIMIH.exe

I saw a Microsoft Community post that said to remove full screen popups from Campaign Manager rename RUXIMIH.exe in Program Files.  I want to be sure there will be no side effects if I rename RUXIMIH.exe

I don’t have RUXIM folder on my Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

..the RUXIM folder has an impact on the proper functioning of Windows updates. So, it’s not recommended that you delete the folder…

You could try using the InControl utility from Gibson Research. Very safe. Turn it on or off, period. I use it and do not get full screen pop-ups. I’m running Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

Just use the Task Scheduler to disable RUXIM under WindowsUpdate:

Task Scheduler (Local)
v Task Scheduler Library
  v Microsoft
    v Windows
      v WindowsUpdate
        RUXIM

With PLUGScheduler in Ready state, in the menu click “Action” and choose “Disable”. I did that and Windows Update has continued to work for me.
