Microsoft has provided instructions for using Internet Explorer under the Microsoft Edge browser.

“Internet Explorer is retired and is no longer supported. If any site you visit needs Internet Explorer, you can reload it with IE in Microsoft Edge.”

    Instructions are provided at:

Well that’s handy to know Edge or “Credge” still has proved unable to produce easy to view, themed Favicons for the Desktop. It only works about 1-2% of the time leaving your desktop full of those “Swooshes” or whatever they call them. Apart from that there’s really no need to enable IE11 any more, as after use it normally gets disabled and the newly “minted” Favicons remain..

and in the words of the TV show “this is one I made earlier.”
