Windows 11 Pro 22H2 – 2 win 11 machines networked – Mouse customization

I have 2 Windows 11 Pro 22H2 machines networked and in the same workgroup.  One user is left handed and the other is right handed.  The left handed used changes the buttons left to right on her workstation – then after a minute or 2 the right handed persons button changes from left to right.  The user thats left handed uses QuickBooks on her machine with the company file located on the other machine –

Is the same Microsoft account linked into the two machines and thereby making the changes to mouse match on both machines?

Each workstation is logging on locally – each with a unique name – not using a Microsoft account.    I will note – the client subscribed to office 365 – family edition – thereby giving them an install up to 5 users.  the office installs were installed with the same user account that was used to sign up for office – hope that makes sense..

There are settings in the Settings App to sync all sorts of settings/things between computers/accounts. Go through the settings and turn off some of the syncing (?).

Thanks PKCano –  I think that may have been it.

Went to System – Accounts -Windows backup – switched off Remember my preferences –

So far it seems like the mouse buttons have not changed the users mouse on the other workstation.   I’ll know more next week and update if this solved the issue.
