Windows 11 task bar icons.

When I installed Windows 11, on the bottom task bar there was a multitude of icons, seventeen of which I did not need.
So I deleted them – see screen shot:

This in turn made some tremendous problems, now all resolved.
So my question is this, how can I delete them without making problems again please?

Your screenshot does not show icons on the taskbar. It shows folders and a file inside a user folder.

Correct.

These icons were removed from the task bar, and transferred into a folder.

What folder are they in?

Do you still want to remove anything from the taskbar?

Just a folder that I created and put on my desktop

Everything has been removed from the task bar already that I do not want, those items are now in this folder.

All I’m trying to ascertain here is, all the icons that come and show up on the Windows 11 taskbar on installation, can they be safely deleted?

Icons on the taskbar can be safely unpinned.

It’s not possible to drag and drop icons from the taskbar into a folder.
