Windows Live Mail and USB problem

Three systems upgraded with Build 19041.450 Dell XPS 8900, Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro. After the update Windows Live Mail no longer worked after many years. I got it to where it would download message headers but no content. I run IMAP and WLM couldn’t download the folders. I hid the WLM folder in AppData and let WLM create a new folder. I created my 5 email accounts and they work. So something in the original folder was modified. All 3 systems alike.
