      Carl,

Is this setting in the main Power Options window, or in the Advanced Settings submenu?

Sounds like the program is updating the display before the shutoff time.

In which case hitting the on/off button when you leave the PC will do the trick!

But which weather program are you using, Easy Weather, Cumulus, something else?

Drool, I only have the cheapo one. It uses Easyweather and the screen blanks at the appropriate time. I am going to download Cumulus (which I think is normally used by Vantage owners) so I’ll see then if the screen stays live.

Carl, I think access-mdb might have the only answer: Turn the monitor off when you get up. Most screen savers, power savers interpret data updates as input to wake up the screen and I know of no way to block that unless an app designer has a way so only keyboard or mouse movement wakes the screen up.

Just to update, my screen goes off when I have Cumulus running so I assume you have something else keeping it on.
