The last update I installed caused my printer to not take a command from the computer, so I had to uninstall it. Now what do I do? Do I dare reinstall it or even install future updates?

  I don’t know the age of the driver.
  By “command”, I meant trying to print something from the computer (as opposed to just using the printer alone)

  I would plug it into a new usb connection and have it ‘refind’ the printer.
