Last week I ended up with a problem.
When I click on any folder on the right side window of Windows Explorer, instead of that folder, search window opens up.
If I click on same folder on left window of windows explorer, folder open up normal.
I don’t have that problem before. I controlled folder settings and view settings but I couldn’t find out anything.
Any help?

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody PlusJune 28, 2011 at 1:12 pm #1285819The first thing I’d suggest is a virus scan. I’d recommend using Malwarebyte’s (http://www.malwarebytes.org/) as it’s still about the best (if not the best) standalone scanner. If that doesn’t come up with anything perhaps if you re-download Windows Explorer (or find it on the XP disc). That should fix any issues caused by explorer itself being corrupted. Otherwise I’d advise trying some registry scans see if anything comes up there.
