    hey.i have about 10 folders with WINDOWS XP HOTFIX and numbers after them in my add and remove programme.What are they abd do i need them.Can i delete them.

      No, you shouldn’t delete them, unless you have a very good reason to suspect one of them of serious misbehavior. They are patches for various problems with Windows, many of them security patches that protect your system against holes Microsoft left in the original design.
