My win 10 PC came up with a blue screen saying, “uh oh, there’s a problem with power_state_drive’. Collecting data and we’ll reboot when done. After the 100% done had been sitting a while, I powered off and rebooted. Or tried to.
The boot loader doesn’t like my SSD anymore and eventually boots into Win 7 on my old hard drive. I disconnected the old drive, rebooted and got this message: The following file is either missing or corrupt: windowssystem32winload.exe. Status: 0xc000000e.
I’ve tried replacing the file but can’t get around the permissions to do it.
Every solution I’ve seen says, Insert the Windows install disc.
My old Dell came with Win 7, upgraded to Win 10. No discs anywhere. I tried using my repair disc for Win 10 but the PC ignores it.
Any help out there?
