I’m at the end of my tether! Yesterday I tried to email a couple of photos and got a green line stating that Windows Live Mail was “publishing photo album”…forever! Today I could not access my mail at all because this box appeared so I Googled and read about other people having this problem. One solution advised was to uninstall Windows Live photos (can’t recall the correct name) and in the control panel get Windows Live Essentials to repair all Windows Live Applications. I’ve done this, after first moving all of my photographs to Picasa. I was able to get into my emails and they downloaded but I then got a message, basically error 80004003, which I think is an email stuck in the outbox so I found the outbox and deleted the photo email. I rebooted my W7 64 bit Lenovo desktop PC but again I can’t get into Windows Live Mail…that blasted green bar is showing again with “publishing photo album”….but there should not be any emails with photos waiting to go!!!
If I uninstall Windows Live Mail and reinstall it again, will I lose all my emails? Will I have to start from scratch? Is there another solution …please?
I have just read some advice , ie delete all WLM.exe in task manager…any good?
