In my existing Word 2003, I was able to take a Web Command for the Address on one of my toolbars.

In my new Word 2010, I was able to find “Address” under All Commands when customizing Ribbon. I was not able to find “Address” under All Commands when customizing the Quick Access Toolbar.

How can I get Word 2010 or any other Office 2010 products to display the current filename and path?

Please note that I am wanting to place the full filename / path in Office 2010. The Link to http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/File_Name_And_Path.htm presents a Office 2003 solution, which I have already done.

I am looking for a Office 2010 method to put the filename and Path at the top where I can copy it.

The address control you’re looking for is available in the Customize Quick Access Toolbar dialog, under either All Commands or Commands Not in the Ribbon. The command name is “Document Location”.

        jjfreedman” Thanks
I customized the Excel 2010 QAT and added the “Document Location” control / field.

Now how can I widen the control [field] to show the full filename / path?
