Good afternoon, I hope someone can help us this issue that plague us every time we replace a PC in one department that uses many macro buttons on the quick launch bar. We copy all files that we think are necessary from the old PC like files in app data, etc. including the normal.dot. The quick launch buttons appear, but they are not linked to the macros.

The only way I have been able to fix this is to rerun the button creation macro, in essence redo the macro. Is there any way that we can make sure the macros are linked? Maybe a better question is where are the macros located. I thought they were in normal.dot, but that is copied as is the quick launch bar, but no links work. You see the buttons on the quick launch bar, but they do nothing.

Any help will be much appreciated.
