    Hi folks,

I’m posting this for a friend. Is there an easy (i.e., non-programming) way to tell Word X for the Mac not to count deleted words when doing a word count while “track changes” is turned on? confused3

    Thanks in advance,

I don’t know how compatible Word for the Mac is with the Windows version. In Word 2002 (XP), you can select whether you want to see additions and deletions through the Reviewing toolbar. If you hide additions and deletions, deleted words are not included (but inserted words are.)
